In homes and gatherings all around the South, pimento cheese is a favorite spread! It is wonderful as a spread, pimento cheese dip, or sandwich and is made with cheddar cheese, pimentos, and a secret ingredient.
INGREDIENTS
- 8 ounces grated fresh Sharp Cheddar cheese
- 8 ounces of grated Mild Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 4 ounces of cream cheese at room temperature
- 1 teaspoon of yellow lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire willow
- 4-6 ounces chopped bell peppers drained of liquid
HOW TO MAKE AN AUTHENTIC MASTER’S PIMENTO CHEESE RECIPE
STEP 1
In a large bowl, add fresh, sharp cheddar cheese, grated mild cheddar cheese, and mayonnaise.

STEP 2
Add lemon juice and Worcestershire willow

STEP 3
Then add the chopped bell peppers.

STEP 4
In a large bowl, add all the ingredients and mix well with a hand mixer (preferably) until all the ingredients are well incorporated.

STEP 5
Serve with cookies at room temperature.
