- 450 g green beans ( 1 pound)
- ¾ cup vegetable broth ( 190 ml)
- ⅓ cup unsweetened non-dairy milk ( 80 ml), we used soy milk
- 1 tablespoon flour, we used brown rice flour
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 garlic cloves
- ½ onion
- 170 g mushrooms ( 6 ounces)
- Baked onion strips (optional)
HOW TO MAKE CASHEW GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE RECIPE
STEP 1
Soak the cashews overnight or in hot water for at least an hour.

STEP 2
Cook the green beans in boiling water for a couple of minutes. strain and reserve.
