You may have heard of overnight oats. This jar of soaked oatmeal, often known as overnight oats, is a wonderfully filling breakfast that you can make the night before. It is also a wholesome and filling breakfast. You only need one glass, six ingredients, and five minutes to make it. I’ll show you how.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup uncooked old-fashioned oatmeal
- 1 cup low-fat yogurt
- 1/2 cup skim or 1% milk
- 1/2 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
- 1/2 cup apple chunks (about 1/3 medium apple cut into 3″ diameter)
HOW TO MAKE DIABETIC OVERNIGHT OATS RECIPE
STEP 1
In a medium bowl mix oats, yogurt, and milk. Also, add chia seeds(additional)

STEP 2
You can add the fruit right away or just before eating.

STEP 3
Cover and refrigerate the oat mixture for 6 to 12 hours.

STEP 4
For on-the-go breakfasts, spoonfuls of the mixture onto small plates or small containers with lids.

STEP 5
Refrigerate leftovers within 2 hours.
