INGREDIENTS
- 2 whole chicken breasts (500g)
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 pinch of ground pepper
- 1 clove of garlic
- 2 small onions
- Fresh oregano to taste (or dried if not available)
- A few sprigs of fresh thyme (or otherwise dried)
- 30ml light olive oil
- The zest of 1 lemon
- 1 touch of sherry
- 50ml lemon juice
HOW TO MAKE A SIMPLE GARLIC LEMON CHICKEN BREAST RECIPE
STEP 1
Clean the chicken breasts, and remove the outer skin and the remains of fat.

STEP 2
We add 1 teaspoon of salt and 1 pinch of ground pepper and reserve them.

STEP 3
Separately, chop 1 clove of garlic, chop 2 small onions, and wash the sprigs of oregano and thyme well, if using them fresh.

STEP 4
We put a pan on the fire, add 30 ml of soft olive oil and, when hot, seal the breasts on both sides and remove them.

STEP 5
In the same skillet, brown the minced garlic, and add the chopped onion. Then add the zest of 1 lemon(additional), add a good dash of sherry, and let the alcohol evaporate.
Add 50 ml of lemon juice and let the sauce cook for about 5 minutes.

STEP 6
Add the chicken breasts again. Now add the oregano and thyme. Cover the pan and cook over medium heat for 20 minutes.

STEP 7
After this time we check that the breasts are cooked and we remove them from the heat.

On a cutting board, laminate the breasts and serve them, with the garnish you want.
